Monthelie white
Located between the better known villages of Volnay and Meursault, Monthelie has a small, total surface area of 129 ha and has gradually built up its reputation for the quality of its red and white wines.

The domain has two plots for its Monthelie white wine :

Sector : Champ Rond
- History : a circular dip in the land below the village.
- Orientation : SE at an altitude of 260m.
- Domain surface area: 11a15ca
- Slope : 0 à 2%
- Date planted : 1989
- Vinestock : 161-49
- Graft : Chardonnay clones 76 and 95
- Soil : clay and brown limestone, deep.

Sector : les Riottes (classified as premier cru)
- History : a narrow lane in old French.
- Orientation : SE at an altitude of 300 m.
- Domain surface area: 11a20ca
- Slope : 0 à 2%
- Date planted : 1990
- Vinestock : 161-49
- Graft : Chardonnay clones 76 and 95
- Soil : clay and limestone, stony.

- Taste : the crop from these two very small plots are vinified ; the Champ Rond grapes give fullness to the palate while the Riottes the mineral and delicate tones, this combination resulting in an elegant and pleasant white wine.
- Serving temperature : 12-14°C and it can be advisable to decant recent vintages to enhance the aroma.
